The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.
SASSA is going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed about the high number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The service issue made for intervention activities a higher inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out more info programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of all buyers and boost use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
